Hi team if you could pick the iam8bit code for September what would you choose? Would it be video game themed or something outrageous?

Hey MinnMaxers. Saints Row impressions are starting to come out and they are pretty lukewarm. How do you feel about this considering that you have an interview about the game?

Not technically a missed joke opportunity but Hanson’s “Oh, the Emerald City” in response to Kelsey mentioning a convention in Seattle did not get the attention or laugh it deserved! Let’s call it a missed laugh opportunity.

Howdy crew, Is there a more socially acceptable anxiety inducing common occurrence than having happy birthday sung to you in a public setting? What could top that? For those on the panel do you enjoy it, accept it, or hate it? Who is it for, the singers? Do they like it? It certainly isn't for the recipient.

My goty in 2020 was Kentucky Rt Zero and instantly shot into my top 20 ever. My friends were surprised and thought they should play it. The problem is that this game hit really hard for me with its narrative and themes. Also, it’s point and click which won’t appeal to many. I have a really hard time recommending one of my favorite games ever to anybody. Have any of you ever experienced this?

Hello MinnMax! Forspoken dropped a gameplay overview Wednesday morning and I was very impressed with the gameplay and effects but the writing still seems to be what will make or break this game. Has anyone been able to watch it and what was the crews thoughts? Thanks

Hello [Hanson insert nickname then immediately shrug it off] I was scrolling through the infinite credits of a game listening to the party chat discussion on the unfortunate new saints row it got me wondering do we not give enough credit to games that are solid? Step back, the credits I was watching as I was listening was for Far Cry 6. To be fair, you all were pretty positive on the game in the podcast, but in general should a technical game series that keeps nailing it mechanically receive more praise and attention? Is it harder than we think to pull this off?

Hey MinnMax crew, two questions for you all. 1. With the PSVR 2 officially launching in early 2023, are there any existing games/franchises (i.e like the Horizon VR game) that you'd like to see a VR game/mode be added for PSVR2? 2. Sony also announced their Elite PS5 controller with the DualSense Edge, are there any other accessories that you'd like Sony to make a first-party version of? Thanks and keep up the awesome work! Sachin from Toronto, Canada

Hi MinnMax crew! What's your best comfort food while playing your comfort game? For me it's peanut m&Ms while playing gears of war 3 campaign.

Hey Minnmax! I remember reading a sentence in the Uncharted 4 Game Informer cover talking about Nates scrappy chest hair having wind physics and thinking that was cool. Yet here I am playing fortnite and my Indiana Jones skin doesn't even have armpit hair. I've noticed a whole lot of games have difficulty with making realistic arm pits. What's a weird and random area of game development that developers have difficulty with that you constantly notice?

Hey guys I recently watched the deepest dive on super Mario 64 and while I love that game I never beat the whole thing, since I mostly played it as a child......I had NO clue you could jump into the volcano on the lava level. What was the craziest new thing you learned about a game you thought you knew a good amount about?
