Hello everybody, thanks for supporting us at the MinnMax Council tier! As you might know, we let you call in via the #minnmaxcouncil Discord channel on the last Sunday of every month. This month, however, is a little different. Due to some scheduling stuff, we'll instead be taking calls at 12pm Central on Monday, August 30th. So please call in to podcast with Jeff Marchiafava and Ben Hanson, we'll be answering any questions you have or just talking about your favorite games. Anything you want.

If you can't make that time work, feel free to leave a question as a comment on this post and we'll answer it on the show.

I will not be able to make the show but I had a question for Hanson and JeffM. I wanted to know if either of them have seen Building the Bastion? It's a 4 episode look at Bastion from Super Giant Games hosted by Giant Bomb and they take several looks at the games at different stages of development. There's also a behind the scenes look at the space they worked out of and a Q&A of the game. The 1st episode is part of an episode of Whiskey Media Happy Hour but the other 3 are posted separately and easy to find on YouTube or Giant Bomb. https://www.giantbomb.com/videos/building-the-bastion-part-02/2300-3563/

Can't call in, and this is too long for YT chat, but after the news of Suriel stepping down as a cohort, you seemed very quick to mention you'd likely be bringing someone else on. Granted, you've probably had more time to process it than us, and you said it wouldn't be for a little while, but I was wondering if you could walk us through what that process is like? Is it a matter of trying to find someone established, but who also has some free time? or are you looking towards people who are more up and coming? Given that the world may return to normal one day, is someone being local a factor? Lastly, are there any other factors I'm not listing here? P.S. I'm willing to change my name to Suriel, and I will accept payment in fancy biscuits.
