Hey fellow flesh computer cohorts, what's your favorite game in a genre you normally don't like or have no interest in? How often do you try games outside your "preferred" genres?

Hey y’all, think I submitted this question waaay late a couple weeks back but maybe it just sucked.. What game’s box art makes you want to turn the sands of time back and redo the cover? For me it’s Mario Kart Wii... It really kills me that Mario and Luigi are driving invisible karts WITH the systems hardware in their hand! I see what Nintendo was going for but like a dog its ruff. (To me at least)

The delay of Guilty Gear Strive got me thinking that there has been a lot of delays lately. Do you think with all these postponed games, the PS5 and Xbox series generation will be longer? Last gen was 7 years. Will this gen get to 8 or 9?

What's the good word MinnMax? We're at 1 year since the lockdown began, and it has me wondering: will the gaming industry go "back to normal" or has Covid started a completely new era and has changed everything permanently? For instance, will we ever see huge press conferences with live audiences ever again? Do you think that working from home is here to stay for some major studios now that they have had time to figure out how to make it work? Is there going to be an influx of new gamers that discovered it as a quarantine hobby and how will they effect what types of games we'll see? Thanks, and keep being awesome!

Hey XamNnimers, hope you're all well - I saw that you've got a copy of the Stardew Valley board game, and was very jealous, as they currently aren't available in the UK. Stardew is such a perfect fit for a board game, I'm almost surprised this didn't happen sooner. My question is this - what video game (or other media) do you think would be the best foundation for a board game? I remember seeing a Final Fantasy 7 Monopoly board some years ago, and thinking it was huge waste, as Monopoly suuuuuuucks. Some kind of Catan or Risk style game, where you travel across the board by chocobo or airship seems like a much better fit. Interested to hear your thoughts, Jonathan

I’ve got a little game for you guys! Here's the situation: You get 1 million dollars if you beat a game of your choosing. These are the rules: The game needs to be finished in a single sitting. The game needs to be played on its highest difficulty (if available), and it can't be a game without the possibility of dying or some form of fail state (no walking sims, or anything like that). Play the game, "roll the credits", earn your million. Which game do you choose? Best, Sean M.

In light of the grumbling that happens whenever a new first party studio title is announced to be cross-gen, I did some digging into the GI archives and came away with some interesting facts. If y'all had to guess, when was the last GI cover story about a cross gen title? The answer: March 2016's LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens cover, 28 months after the start of "next-gen". To put that into perspective, the current-gen equivalent would be March of 2023. Below I've included every cross-platform cover story, the month the game was featured and how many next-gen exclusive covers were featured before it. Hopefully ya'll find this as interesting as I did. Shadow of Mordor-Dec '13 Destiny-Jan '14 MGSV-Mar '14 (1) Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare-June '14 (3) Far Cry 4-July '14 Assassin's Creed: Rogue-Sep '14 (5) The Evil Within/Alien Isolation-Oct '14 Resident Evil: Revelations 2-Nov '14 (Happy 1st birthday, PS4/XBO!) Rise of the Tomb Raider-Mar '15 (8) Disney Infinity 3.0-June '15 (10) Destiny: The Taken King-Sept '15 (12) LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens-March '16 (17)

Hey Ben and the CLCs, By my count, there are three noteworthy co-op PvE shooters coming out this year: Second Extinction, Aliens: Fireteam, and Back 4 Blood. What’s your hype level for these three games?

Hello Minners of Maxia When I was 10 I played Goldeneye for the first time at a friends house, from then on it was the only thing I ever wanted to do. But I only had a gameboy at the time, so thinking it was essentially the same game but smaller I bought James Bond 007. It was not, it was the opposite. Do you guys have any similar experiences? Cheers, Pav
