What movie has the best soundtrack? Or rather what movie is made better by its soundtrack? Song: In the Jailhouse Now by The Soggy Bottom Boys

I just wanted to share the song that got me into MF DOOM. Related, what are your opinions on tie-ins? Is it still selling out if it's done well, or is just cool? https://open.spotify.com/track/7v33VlF9vbaJh1hWQRGdDu?si=A1NgoUR_RSKiAVNrfGBtvQ

MF Doom is one of the most creative and innovative musicians to ever be in the game. However, I feel one of his most overlooked aspects is his voice. His sultry baritone vocals provide the backbone that holds up the structure of his legendary beats. Which MF Doom track comes to you when you think of his legendary voice and what it’s capable of?

Hi Crossfade, so I find myself at a crossroads. I'm recently divorced, and my wife was the music person. I have no idea how to find new music. I had planned to just tell people I saw it on pitchfork so I sound smart and cool. How do I find music that I will like and women will think I'm cool? Similarly, who are the most divorced dude musicians that are automatically my new favorites?

Sup crossfaders, have you ever listened to an album or song and its resonated so muh with you in that moment, that you could call it a "religious experience"? Some musical moment that has significantly impacted you or changed the way you listen to music forever? In college when I first listened throughout Yes's discography, I didn't understand Close to the Edge the first time I listened, but the second time through, it absolutely blew my mind and i'll always remember that moment. Hi Matt and Suriel, I was generously gifted a turntable for christmas so I was curious what y'all thought about the recent resurgence of vinyl? How much do you think nostalgia plays a role? MF Doom certainly seemed to have some nostalgia for the sound of vinyl, as many of the beats he chose / produced featured its signature crackle and hiss. I wonder though if its newfound relevance will recede once again when there are fewer and fewer people with a soft spot for the iconography of the medium. What do you think?

Hi, you know any Rap songs with time signatures other than 4/4? The only one I can think of is also my recommendation of the episode, Aceyalone's " The Greatest Show On Earth" which is in 6/8. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QLEexto9opA

Hey Matt and Suriel, In keeping with the genre this week, I wanted to submit Big KRIT's "Bury Me In Gold" from his double album of the same name. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VtYl33WeFjk KRIT is, for my money, one of the two best rappers doing it right now (the other being Kendrick, obviously.) He's the best act out of Atlanta since Outkast, in my opinion, and Bury Me in Gold is probably his most cohesive, emotional project so far. I'd love to hear your thoughts on the track! I think it has an incredibly powerful message, and is simply a gorgeous track. Thanks!

What’s Good Crossfade Crew, I know y’all are not covering the Album this song is on but if your fairly familiar with DOOM, the song “Absolutely” is somewhat of a must hear especially in light of current political events that have taken place. The song speaks to how the Villain takes on Injustices with the law and those that abuse they’re power. MF DOOMs subject matter isn’t always direct or easy to understand but once you get it it sticks. Is there a song of his that might not be your favorite but has stuck with you beyond being a great rap? DOOM FOREVER
