Hey yalls! Judging by your two tens deliberations, it seems like you pretty much all agree that Spider-Man Miles Morales benefitted from being a shorter, more focused experience. How would you feel about playstation doing this "short and sweet" approach with their upcoming games, like god of war or horizon: forbidden west? I dont see any numbers at the end of the titles, after all!

Ben Kenobi and the MinnMaxdalorians, What is the bad game or below average game from previous generations that you could not resist buying for a modern platform? Maybe it wasn't bad when it first released. Maybe it was just an average game that hasn't aged well over time. But that nostalgia is just too hard to resist today. For me? It would probably be Mobile Suit Gundam: Journey to Jaburo (PS2). Thanks for all that you do! Be safe!

Hey Handstand and the Cartwheel Carnivores, You've talked previously about what a nightmare the game of the year discussions at GI were. But could you walk us through that process some more? How did the staff eventually reach an agreement? Did one person just cave, or did Andy have to step in often?

Hey folks! Ana, I'm curious to know if you've beaten Final Fantasy VII: Remake yet? If so, would you knowledge having beaten it change your feeling about it as GOTY? Kyle's argument against it seemed to hinge on the ending.

Do you think all PS4/Xbox One games should have a free upgrade if a next gen version is available? I feel games like The Last of Us 2, Red Dead 2, and FF7 remake will eventually get next gen upgrades, but I don't think they will be free upgrades. I'll pay for a next gen upgrade if its a proper upgrade (like Spider-man remaster), but I feel that I'm in the minority on this issue. Sooner or later, companies will stop offering their next gen upgrades for free due to the time it will take for some of these upgrades. Maybe God of War, Horizon, FF7 Remake, and Last of Us 2 will get PS5 versions at $40 price point. And I think the internet will rage for a couple weeks.

Hi MinnMaxers! First-timer here :) I really enjoyed your recent video of museum directors reacting to museums in games. I'm an architect and I often find myself thinking about architecture & buildings in video games. From the monumental bureau in Control to the detail depicted in Last of Us 2 - level design and architecture in video games can be closely related. Level designers have a lot of freedom compared to buildings in the real world. In games, buildings can do miraculous things like change shape, but they also don't need to deal with technical constraints like fire code or with budget when designing spaces. What are some of your favorite architecture and urban spaces in games? Are there buildings or interiors or cityscapes in games that have stuck with you or inspired you?

Greetings Cheek Inspectors! I got an Oculus Quest 2 for Christmas and as someone who’s never tried VR, this has been the single biggest “I’m living in the future” moment I’ve ever experienced. It’s literally like I am inside of a video game—I’m basically in my childhood fantasy dream world of Spy Kids 3-D and Code Lyoko. My parents haven’t been able to play video games since the Wii because of the controllers. My mom put on the VR headset and within seconds she had it figured out and was up to speed, playing ping pong and dancing with robots. Before I left I saw her browsing the Oculus store on her phone. I’ve never even seen her play a game on her phone, yet now she’s asking my dad to split a Quest 2 between themselves for Valentines Day! Am I crazy!? Is this not the futuristic kind of tech we used to dream about!!? It’s already here, right now! Every time I put the headset on I still feel kinda like I’m jacking into the Matrix. Why isn’t everyone else freaking out!?! Is it just my honeymoon hype? Why isn’t VR more popular? Starting with Respawn, will 2021 finally be the year of studios making AAA quality/budget VR games? Respect and Love, Y’all

Greetings Benjamin and others, How would you describe your dream gaming setup? My wife and I are looking at houses, and my mind is swirling with ideas of how to set up a gaming space now that we'll have more room. Personally, I want to be able to have a spot for more than one person to sit and game with. Thanks and happy gaming! Joel Kost (silvaf0x)

Hi everyone, I have been going pretty much all digital in the last couple years in my ps4's lifespan. I now have a ps5 and have felt compelled to only buy discs since I have such limited hard drive space. So you think there will be a resurgence in physical copy sales for the ps5 due to this? Though I guess it depends on how many disc vs digital versions were sold.

Hello Ben and the Beloved Believers of Bensville, my frustration with how games design inv mngmnt (cyberpunk) encourages me to take extended break between plays. Just the simple ability to tag and item as “junk” would really speed up the process of selling all those frickin guns I collect. Furthermore, when selling items why not just have a “sell all” option? Selling food is extremely time consuming. I have two of 100 items and I gave to choose the item, scroll to two, then confirm sell. Ugh, this is probably a question o should’ve directed at the deepest dive for cyberpunk but it’s common enough in other games. Anyways, love the show and the crew! Keep it up!
