What, in your opinion, is the most underrated Van Halen track? (Feel free to also mention an LP, even though we all know it’s Fair Warning.)

Guitar Hero Van Halen came out a little after the fad had fizzled, but it was one of my favourite versions of the band playing genre. Did either of you play the Van Halen version? And what were your impressions?

What artists' passing impacted you the most? I was pretty young and uninterested when Kurt Cobain died, but I was 20 years old and near the peak of my music fandom when Dimebag Darrell from Pantera was killed, and I was beyond devastated. I was a member of the board of the college radio station, and I basically commandeered the studio and just played Pantera for several hours. It still makes me sad to this day that I never saw Pantera (or even Damageplan) play live. Rest in peace, EVH!

Hey there Crossfaders, You might as well, jump! Lots of great Van Halen over the years. I think the best description of David Lee Roth is when listened to only his vocal track in a song, he is what cocaine sounds like. The link is an example of how ridiculous it can sound https://youtu.be/IArxakPsPE0 -Geoff aka Groffles

Hi, As a teenager I actually did not like Van Halen that much because I was a pretentious contrarian who hated any music that didn't have notably profound lyrics, regardless of the incredibly impressive musicianship. I grew to really appreciate them as an adult, however. What bands did you dislike as a teenager but eventually grew to love into adulthood?
