Hey Ben and the CLCs I recently listened to the Outside/in podcast featuring Ana on the topic of open worlds and specifically Skyrim (fantastic episode Ana!). The world of Skyrim has always had a tremendous appeal to me as an avid hiker/backpacker. That got me wondering, which video game world would you most like to explore IRL, assuming you're save from its inherent dangers. Thanks for the great shows!

Hey all, Let's hash this out, which fast food restaurant has the best breakfast sandwich? My money is on the croisannwich from Burger King, but I haven't had one in probably five years. We'll talk breakfast burritos next week, Fred

Good day Ben and friends! Recently I’ve been playing Ghost of Tsushima and while I’ve been enjoying the aesthetic and overall presentation, there are little to no consequences for playing poorly. Dying costs no resources, no lives, and with short load times, I find myself being more careless while playing. Do more games need to implement some kind of punishment for dying or sloppy play (Dark Soul) or is this type of game design antiquated?

G'day minnmaxers! Simple question today, what is your favorite spot in an open world game? Mine is a little area in BotW, in the northeast corner of the map, that is a valley full of trees that are perpetually fall colored. A beautiful and mostly peaceful spot, if you can avoid the very territorial Lionel that also lives there. What about you all?

Hey MinnMaxers! When’s the last time a game ruined another game for you? My example is Sekiro and Ghost of Tsushima. Coming off hot after getting all the achievements in Sekiro I was still pretty hungry for some samurai goodness. So I picked up GoT and while it was definitely fun at first. I’m now finding myself unable to play it, due to its uninteresting story and repetitive gameplay. Anything like this happen to any of you?

Hey MinnMax, I've always wanted to engage further with the community but I haven't had the time due to sheer amount of youtube channels I'm subscribed to and follow (and having 3 kids under 3 yrs). If you had to cut 2 of these channels out of your feed to free up time which would you choose? H3 Podcast, Game Theory/GTLive, MrBeast, Philip Defranco, Game Informer, Bellular News, or Twitch streamers highlight reel channels

From the other Nick in Atlanta Hey Minnmax crew, Can we all get real here? Cyberpunk is going to be the game everyone is playing when these new consoles release. I’m not going to be playing Spiderman on PS5 or Flight Simulator on Xbox (or whatever else they cook up). I’m going to be playing Cyberpunk, and it’s going to take up all of my time. Why aren’t more people discussing this? Anyways I’ll get off of my soapbox. Thanks for all content. You help me get through the week and I really appreciate it!

I felt the same way about Tsushima. Sekiro became my favorite game of all time dethroning Super Mario World. But for Tsushima, it is a typical open world game. Repetitive missions, going through a list, ALL boss fights were the same. I still don't understand why it's getting as much praise as it is. It is an 8.25 game in my opinion.

It’s probably because it’s very pretty and has a great photo mode. Also it’s the Assassins Creed game everyone has always wanted.

Hey Cohorts, as I write this I am walking the streets of Venice. A few hours ago I saw St Mark's Basicila and Campinale (the tall red tower) and my mind immediately went to climbing it in Assassin's Creed 2. Have you ever seen a location in a game and then visited it in real life?

A bit late I think, but if you still look here before recording today, just wanted to mention that Kingdoms of Amalur: Re-Reckoning came out this week! Would love to hear thoughts from you all on the idea of this remaster and whether any of you will be checking it out. Thanks!

Hey Cohorts, my question is specifically for Ben: how fast are you planning to binge Camp Cretaceous? Remember, I pay (a small part of) your bills so don't you lie to me now.

Random question- how much do I need to donate to get a Snake Eater "Super Replay" from you guys!

Howdy bors long time listener first time interactor. I've been listening to a lot of podcast content and found that no one is talking about this, maybe no one cares! righto so not much of a question just wanted to get your thoughts on the semi confirmed switch pro. Whats the bet that it it can only be played docked. Nintendo aren't shying away from calling the switch lite a switch even though it doesn't actually switch between handheld and docked mode. So how about it, would taking away the portability of the switch turn you guys off from getting the new pro. Personally I would like it if Nintendo were to do this. Everyone has a switch now anyway so why not ditch the portability and hone in on a foreign concept for Nintendo.. PERFORMANCE! Sorry for yelling. Have a good day guys
