First of all, your welcome for the comment which yielded the first mention of Hamilton. I take check or PayPal. Why are OSTs (including musicals) so often ignored among the music media and enthusiasts? It’s disappointing since so many people start off listening to soundtracks as first exposure to music. Here’s your heavy paraphrase, Jason: What’s the deal with soundtracks?! Song: Sogno di Volare by Christopher Tin

Hey howdy hey music lovin' cohorts, After many episodes of both the Game Informer podcast and the MinnMax Show, it seemed to be the general consensus that Hamilton just may be the greatest work of art of all time. After today's in depth discussion on the soundtrack, are you all in agreement? Could this, indeed, be the greatest work of art of all time or does Hanson stand alone on this? Thanks, Queso

Hello Matt, Alex, and Ben! Just wondering if you have listened to the Hamilton Mix Tapes, and if you have a favorite re-imagining or dropped track from that album that didn't make it into the show. My personal favorite is the Dear Theodosia cover by Ben Folds and Regina Spektor. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OUw6zEZRrKE

Whoa big cast this week hello everyone. So I have noticed an uptick in artists doing covers of other artists songs during quarantine. My question is who do you feel about covers? Can they outshine the original or are the always worse? What makes a good cover in your opinion? Speaking of covers my song for this week is Forming the Void - Kashmir https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=hgytgMTsvMc

I saw Hamilton and thought it was incredibly insipid. There wasn't nearly as much hip-hop as I thought there was going to be and the set was the same for the entire show. I get the feeling that it really appealed to theater nerds who want to be the kind of people that like hip-hop, but don't actually like it. Is Hamilton the most overrated art of all time?

Hello! Can we have a discussion about how the entire musical (the greatest work of all time) ends it’s final moment on a unison note? Do you think that the solidarity of all voices becoming one is symbolic?

Did you know that Lin Manuel is cousins with famous Puerto Rican rapper Residente, famous for the group Calle 13? He even opens up Residente's first solo album with this verse which talks about their relationship while also describing the theme of the record. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p_UiR6B9Ll4 As for Calle 13, this one is and forever will be a classic https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vXtJkDHEAAc

With the rising popularity of Hamilton and the continued relevance of its message, what musical definitely deserves a second look?

Thank you for doing a Hamilton episode, this will be my first episode of MinnTrax. I am a life-long musical theatre fan, and what I love about this show and soundtrack is how clearly it is both influenced by the legacy of musicals and contemporary music. There are references to the West Wing "I'm looking for a mind a work," Notorious BIG "If you don't know, now you know..." and The Pirates of Penzance "I am a model of a modern major general" just to name a few. What is so great about these references and nods to other works is that it isn't meant to be impressive, it just shows that Lin-Manuel Miranda has a love of a wide variety of art and music, and he lets it make his work even better.

Hey Traxxers, Hamilton, yes! I am not a fan of most musicals and hip-hop/rap are not my favorite music genre; but despite my interests and the fact that I've never seen Hamilton, I believe it may be in my second favorite musical of all time. The musical in my top spot is the magnificent and perfect Book of Mormon. Anyway, what are your favorite musical productions? - Geoff aka Groffles

I just listened to the Hamilton soundtrack for the first time and I thought it was alright. I would argue against the GWOAT but that's not my goal here. I wanted to see if anyone is familiar with the film 1776 (also a Broadway musical). It's got William Daniels (who some may know as Mr Feeny) as an angry, sweaty John Adams belting out bangers like Piddle Twiddle. It's one of my Ma's favorites so we watched it a lot growing up XD

This question is for Mr. Boniello! Alex, if you got the chance to play a character in Hamilton (if that's something you would even want to do) which character would it be, and why is it Charles Lee? He's a General. WEEEEEEEEEEEEE. P.S. You were a great guest star on Giant Bomb and I very much enjoyed you putting Dan in his place.
