This week on the podcast, we'll have Ben Hanson, Kyle Hilliard, Jeff Marchiafava, Suriel Vazquez, and Ana Diaz. It's your turn to make the show better by leaving a question, topic, or anything else for us to read on the show as a comment below! We’ll choose our favorite and iam8bit will ship out a great prize for the winner! We'll stop pulling questions around 10am Central on Wednesday.

On this week’s episode we’ll be talking about...

- Minecraft Dungeons

- Maneater

- Monster Train

- Mortal Kombat 11: Aftermath

- Mmmm-The Last of Us Part II

We're also going to experiment and try a new segment fueled by the community. Even if you don't have a question, leave us a comment with something that you find really interesting that is overlooked in the game industry. This can be a recent patch or community development, surge in popularity for an unexpected game, a developer's tweets or streams, an overall studio's output... anything that you think deserves a closer look.

To what temperature do you set your thermostat?

Hey MinnMax, I don’t have a question this week, but an overlooked thing might be the Wholesome Direct that happened yesterday, which featured 50+ indie games. I also wanted to point out that Inside Xbox did a similar thing about a month ago and nobody mentioned it. So many cool looking games coming.

Oh, and itch.io in general. Just an amazing platform, I just started exploring it and enjoyed the Frog Detective games and the PS1 Horror game collection.

Hey, Ben and the gang! I I loved last week's decade chat, and thought you did really well to spotlight your own various perspectives on, and experiences with, the games of the decade, without getting too bogged down in "this game is objectively better than this other game" shenanigans. Dan's presence was even more delightful than I could have reasonably hope. I only have one piece of feedback, in form of a question: Why do y'all hate Demon's Souls? All the best, thank you for the words, and keep on making things better; Karl Ruben W. (somewhere in Norway)

Hello MinnMax team, My question is what was the most satisfying game for you all to beat, whether it was something sitting in your backlog for years or not? I just beat Persona 5 Royal, and after owning the vanilla game since launch and having it as a "I'll get to it one of these days" type of things, beating it feels so good, especially since I loved every second of the 152 hours I put into it.

Hello Cohorts! What is the largest group of words you can communicate using only 2 words? For example, saying 'Mom's spaghetti' communicates the first verse and chorus of Eminem's Lose Yourself.

Howdy! Do any of you have random self care life hacks? My example: I do the dishes when I'm using mouthwash, keeps your hands busy and you get two things done at once. Efficiency. Thanks!

Hello Ben, Ana, suriel, Kyle and guy who hasn’t beaten red dead! I’ve been thinking about game reveals and announcements from the past that absolutely shocked me (the reveal of Spider-Man PS4, the announcement of Half-Life: Alyx, stuff like that) What game announcement, good OR bad, do you think would genuinely shock you?

Hey Ben and the Crew Are nachos an appetizer, snack, or a meal?

Hey MinnMax, other than gameplay what aspect of a game is most likely to draw you in? Is it the music, art style, narrative, or something else?

Dear Minnmax,

It seems that all/most Indie games are of the 2D early days of videogames NES, SNES, etc... Is this mainly due to budget?? my favorite games come from the PS2, Dreamcast Era of videogames. Will we see a time when Indie games reach this level of design and graphics? will this era become cheaper for devs to recreate?? I hope its soon if it will. I need lots of Survival Horror games in this fashion! Thank you guys from St. Louis! cheers...
