Hey everyone, Matt Helgeson here. You may remember me as the former host of the Game Informer Show. I’m here to announce MinnTrax, MinnMax’s new music podcast! It’s something I’ve been planning with Ben and the rest of the MinnMax team for a while. Joining us as MinnTrax's producer will be another personality who will be familiar to many of you: Jason Dafnis, former Game Informer intern, game journalist, and podcast host of Trylove.
The format is simple: in each episode, a guest and I will each pick an album we love for each other to listen to and pick apart. Then, we’ll get together and discuss our picks.
I want MinnTrax to be an engaging way to discover and discuss new (and old) music. I hope this will give us new perspectives on our favorites and introduce us to new music that’s outside of our regular listening habits.
Look for new episodes of MinnTrax every other Friday! We’ve got lots of ideas for cool content we can’t wait to try out, like special features on game and film soundtracks. As with everything MinnMax does, your participation and feedback will make MinnTrax better, so be sure to weigh in on the MinnMax Discord on what you’re hearing and what you’d like to see in the future.
The first episode of MinnTrax is appearing in the exclusive audio feed for $5 supporters, but that isn't the podcast's permanent home. You'll need to subscribe to the stand-alone MinnTrax feed on your favorite podcast app.

The same goes for YouTube. You can watch the first episode of MinnTrax on our YouTube channel, but future episodes will be audio only due to YouTube's aggressive copyright protection.

We hope you’ll tune into MinnTrax! And, once again, thanks to the support of our patrons who make this all possible.
