Your Weekly MinnMax Recap (Patreon)
Content
Happy Friday, everybody! Last weekend I polled Patreon supporters to figure out how frequently we should post updates here for our content, the numbers strongly suggested that people want to make sure they don't miss anything. We're trying this weekly recap format so we don't spam your inbox too much.
We had a lot of fun content this week, we hope you enjoyed watching it as much as we enjoyed making it! If you're happy with the Patreon so far, please help spread the word!
MinnFAQs - On Monday Jeff Marchiafava and I answered questions from $20 supporters on a stream, the audio archive went up for $5 supporters on Tuesday. We talked about The Irishman, worked out the final contenders for The Great GOTY Hunt streams, and reviewed Kyle's old video review. Join us next Monday, even if you just try out the $20 tier for one month!
Ben and Jeff Tour Jurassic Park - I've been meaning to check out this Jurassic Park fan project called Jurassic Dream for a while, and we had a ton of fun exploring Isla Nublar together... even if JeffM forgot a crucial aspect of the film's finale. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hEx-uBI2_Cs
The Great GOTY Hunt - Resident Evil 2 - It finally happened. The $10 supporters voted for a big, good game for us to stream for our weekly group streams on Tuesday. For the next three weeks, we're pitting some of 2019's best games against each other in a poll for $10 Patreon supporters to choose. Things are going to get intense. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fmdEj9aGDZY
Max Spoilers - Jedi: Fallen Order - Jeff Marchiafava and Suriel Vazquez were joined by Extra Life champion Jack Gardner to unpack ending of Respawn's exciting Star Wars game and talk about what the series could hold in the future. Just a reminder, you can access the podcast version of these discussions by supporting us at the $5 level on Patreon. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8oBLqxwEXs8
MinnMax's First Community Meetup Is Monday, December 9th at Bauhaus Brew Labs in Minneapolis! - We're very happy to finally announce that our first casual community meetup will take place in Minneapolis' Bauhaus Brew Labs on Monday, December 9th at 8pm. Don't expect anything too fancy, it'll just be a casual place to talk about games and hopefully compete in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. Everybody is welcome, you don't need to be a supporter on Patreon to get in the door. If you bring a new-ish toy, you can exchange it for a beer at the meetup. All of the toys will go to a local hospital to entertain kids in the hospital over the holidays. https://www.eventbrite.com/e/minnmax-communitys-holiday-meetuptoy-drive-tickets-83907316041
If you're outside of Minnesota, you can help contribute to the good cause by generously donating right here and we'll use the funds to go buy more toys and games for the kids stuck in a hospitals over the holidays! This is our chance to show how generous the MinnMax community can be. gf.me/u/wyfj4s
MinnSnax - Eating Mystery S'mores And Football Pizza Review - One of the strangest requests from the community when we formed MinnMax was for a food review show called MinnSnax. Because of your generosity, we were happy to create one! On the first episode, we unpack Suriel's bizarre history with s'mores and review Football Pizza! This video really makes me laugh. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OH5H4oafoFg
The MinnMax Show - Half-Life: Alyx, Visiting Valve, 2019's Best Game Music - On my favorite episode of the podcast yet, we were joined by Level's Emily Reese to talk about her experience visiting Valve and recording podcasts about Half-Life: Alyx and we also ranked our favorite game music from 2019. If you were to share any MinnMax content with a friend, please make it this episode! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Dn3D0XuM08o
75 Reasons To Be Thankful For Games In 2019 - Back at Game Informer we had a tradition of giving thanks to the good year of gaming on Thanksgiving. Thankfully, Jeff Cork graced us with his presence at MinnMax and we were able to keep the dumb jokes rolling. The audio version is available to $5 supporters.

Again, thanks for being such a wonderful community. We're blown away by everybody's positivity. Please, please, please consider supporting the Sweet Toys for Sick Kids charity so we can buy some Nintendo Switch Lites and more for kids in the hospital over Christmas! We can do this! gf.me/u/wyfj4s
