Compete in game trivia on Tuesday, July 30th at 5pm Central with host Michael Huber and special guest Skill Up. You might know Ralph AKA Skill Up from his great YouTube channel or excellent gaming podcast Friends Per Second. You'll tune in to this stream live on Tuesday at 5pm Central to get the prompts, then all of your answers are in the Discord in a channel called #1st-floor - https://youtube.com/live/7PJLm-e6b5g?feature=share

Answer trivia questions correctly to work you way up the tower and win codes for Dragon's Dogma 2, Pacific Drive, Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn, and more. Just like the last episode, we're not allowing previous winners to compete so you have a higher chance of winning. Also, we're going to try to speed the episode up a bit by making it a 15-second cooldown instead of 30. Let us know in the comments below if you have any questions about how Trivia Tower works!

This episode of Trivia Tower is sponsored by Tomba! Special Edition from Limited Run, the new physical re-release of the PlayStation classic platformer. Tomba is releasing on August 1st and there's also cool merch available in Limited Run's store. Come on, how cool is that PlayStation throwback box art? Physical media lives! Check it all out here - https://limitedrungames.com/collections/tomba-special-edition

Trivia Tower Rules and Conditions

- If you get an answer correct, you move up a floor of the Trivia Tower. If you answer correctly on the 5th floor, you win the game.

- One typo allowed per answer including spaces, not counting punctuation. A typo is a missing character, an extra character, or a character in the wrong place. Your one typo cannot spell the name of a different game.

- We need the full name of the game unless otherwise stated. This includes the word “the”. No extra words are allowed on the end of game names.

- No acronyms allowed, you must type out the name of the game as your answer.

- Roman numerals/numbers are interchangeable, numbers can be spelled out

- Editing your answer after the fact automatically disqualifies it.

- No messaging answers to other players.

- The chat is slowed down, so you can only enter one guess every 15 seconds.

- We know it’s weird with a live show, but (for the competitors) you can reduce lag by setting YouTube’s playback speed to 1.25x speed. Somehow this helps make it an even playing field.

Its so neat that Tomba! is getting a modern release. I’ve always heard about how excellent it is.
