I decided to get a longer, more detailed version of the Werewolf God origin, and the very talented Eriray076 was able to help me out! The lighting (esp ghostly green glow) is quite impressive, as is the dialogue which was entirely by the artist. The camera angles and poses are particularly delightful; I imagine this is what comes of having actual art training, instead of being a self-taught hack like myself :)

Why did a giant ghost come out of that jar? Well, the basic premise is that werewolves used to exist on Earth but they all got banished to another plane of existence, except for the god of the werewolves who was trapped in a relic. This was all forgotten with the passage of time; the relic was lost for centuries, but eventually ended up in a museum. These women thieves liberated the relic, and somehow their meddling caused the seals to be broken, releasing the god.

The werewolf god story has shown up a few times already, most notably with one of the spirit wolves taking over Zoe. We haven't seen any of those spirit wolves yet in this comic, but I do have plans for them if Eriray is up for another comm.

Enjoy!

Have you thought about making this into one of your animations? I think this would be a big hit specially after how Zoe and the Beast turned out so well. *wink wink*

I actually did a test for it way back when, but that scene was lost in the great HD crash https://twitter.com/ovidiusnaso2/status/1306326081364926464 I still haven't figured out how to do proper ghost effects, and this one is particularly tough because a werewolf shaped ghost break up into smaller parts that go in side the woman. Maybe cloth sim? Maybe camera tricks and replace the werewolf with tentacles?
