Notice: I'm going to start blocking freeloaders (Patreon)

I've seen a number people dropping on Jan 31, specifically ones who have never contributed a single dollar. I'm going to start blocking people who do this regularly.

I set my price as low as it will go and I publish everything publicly anyway, so I don't think anyone can claim they didn't know what they were getting into. And if you can't spare a dollar, don't pledge in the first place.

Update: To elaborate on who I consider a freeloader, it's someone with no lifetime contribution ($0) who drops their pledge on the last day of the month, then re-pledges the next month. Repeatedly. I can't blame someone for joining and then changing their mind before the end of the month, but don't come back and repeat the cycle.
