There was a short moment when it was unclear if New Tricks was going to make it in time for Halloween, so my creative consultant Daruak came up with a few backup ideas. This is one that resonated with me, mainly for the size difference angle but also because I had an Imp character within reach, so I started drafting up some poses. The story is mostly explained in the dialogue, but to be clear: this is a fantasy world with elves and fairies! Both characters depicted here are mature adults. The elf is probably older than any human alive today, they live a long time you see...
