Lara's Tomb rough 4 - "slide" (Patreon)

4th preview for my Lara Croft sequence, since that's what I'm still (still!) working on. (Previous)

Lara struggles against her bindings, but the magical chains hold really tight. Despite the mummy's hands being dry and ancient, it seems that their new shared flesh is still slick enough from the transformation to allow some "quality time".

Working with the chain prop was not easy, but once I got it into the right shape, I parented it to Lara's right hand. This means it moves when her hand does, keeping it around her wrists, and making the posing easier. Of course, it also follows the wrist when it bends, which is not great. So most of the time, her right wrist doesn't twist or bend, only her left hand does.

I'm also experimenting with some more extreme camera angles this time, trying to tell the story from as many angles as possible. Looks like I forgot to move my lights for this one though, because the mummy's face is too far in the shadows.
