Dragon Hoard - Previews (Patreon)

I decided to come full circle and work on something I could post to all of my galleries. This is based on the amazing "Dragon Hoard" by Jolly Jack, which is well worth the few bucks it costs.

Some of the things I really like about his work are the presentation and flow; it lends itself really well to animation, basically acting like a storyboard. This means a LOT less work for me, since I don't have to figure out what scenes go where, what poses to use, what camera angles I want... it's all there already. 

Of course, mimicking existing poses/angles presents it's own challenges; sometimes the model just can't do what the artist drew. Then there's the technical challenges: people have been asking me for shoes tearing open for a long time, and I finally tackled worked it out here.

Anywho, this one is going to be in the oven for awhile still. Lots more scenes to stub out, cloth sim to run, stills to render (twice, since I have to blend textures), then there's the ever dangerous sound mixing... what have I got myself into?
