This is a little update of what I'm up to and my current workloads.

So, for a while now I've attempted a workflow where I jump between working on 2-3 larger projects, uploading small posts at a time that gradually progress each project. All the while, between those big project posts, I would also churn out some one-off's and smaller pieces. The goal of which was to always have something to share with you guys on a fairly weekly basis - and for some time I feel it has been going quite well.

Lately though, I have begun feeling a sense of burnout. I began to feel the pressure to always have new content for you, my patrons who so generously support and help me do what I do. This has lead, I noticed, to me spending increasingly more time on the one-off's to meet this self-imposed weekly upload schedule, which by in turn meant less time given to the large narrative comics and other big projects which I'm so fond of making. As evident, it's been a few months now since the last "Bottled Potential" update and the upcoming "Accolade" comic is still just that: upcoming.

So as the headline of this post suggests, I want (and in some ways need) to change focus on the types of content I'm producing, putting more time and emphasis back on the larger stories. This would mean that the smaller one-off pinups and sequences will be less frequent and there will be some weeks that I won't have anything new ready to post. I imagine for some of my patrons that may suck not seeing new pieces on a regular basis, but I hope that most are understanding and remain supportive.

Ultimately, I need to relax a little so I can put full concentration and effort back into the comics I love making.

Thank you!

Your mental well-being is the most important thing! If you’re feeling stress or burnout, you should take all the time you need! And just speaking for myself, but taking more time to work on larger-scale projects is more what i would like to see anyways! Not that what I want even matters when talking about your well-being, but I just want you to know that many patrons won’t be as disappointed as you think they’ll be :)

Honesty is #1. Thankful for all of the passion and work you’ve given us, there’s no way I’d be disappointed! Take your time and pace yourself :)

It's totally understandable. As an artist myself, I understand burnout well and the best thing you can do is listen to your brain when it tells you what you need. A little rest, some refocusing on your priorities, will help forestall a much worse loss of drive and make it easier to keep your joy in your work. And if you can't enjoy making sexy stories about beautiful women, what CAN you enjoy, right? Take care of yourself and keep your passion up by whatever means you need!
