  1. We want to help you and anyone else, that is why we have put so much time into help videos and articles. While I realize these will not help everyone, our help pages do resolving things for most patrons. We will do the best we possibly can within the limits we have to help you if those pages don't work. If you are not happy about the help we are able to offer I am happy to refund your patronage. Just contact me and let me know.

  3. Have a notebook to take notes of what issue is coming up when you are trying to accomplish whatever it is you are finding is challenging.

  5. Where does your experience differ from the video? At what step did you have a problem?
  6. What type of device you have and what app you are trying to use? The more specific you are the easier it will be to help you, if you don’t know try to be as specific as you can.

    For example, super-specific would be “I am trying to add the patron feed to an iphone 11pro running ios 14.0.1 on the latest version of pocketcasts that I updated this week. When I click on the acast link, on my phone in a chrome browser, for pocketcasts it brings me back to the patreon login screen. I tried this with apple podcasts and the same thing happened”

    A less specific version would be “I have some kind of samsung tablet, it is three years old, when I am trying to add the patreon feed to podcast addict but my screen looks different than the screen in the video on www.sleepwithmepodcast.com/patronhelp and I’m not sure what to do next.
  7. Remember that everyone is trying to best to help and that there is a person on the other end of your emails. Also a reminder that I will not tolerate disrespectful or abusive behavior to myself, patreon employees or other patrons. Any behavior that I deem to be crossing the line will result in you being blocked on patreon and all platforms. This policy is a result of prior bad behavior by former patrons and I will not allow it.

         1. Use the link to send a note to Patreon support and let them know in as specific way as you can what you need help with and what device and app is causing the issue. There are so many combinations of devices and apps at this point that the more information you can give the easier it will be to help PLUS you could be uncovering a bug that Patreon was unaware of.
        2. You can also try and pop into my office hours, today 10/1 here https://www.patreon.com/posts/42248034)  just keep an eye on the Patreon for when I post them, I can try and help or make a video about it.
