Peter hummed to himself as he step forward, barely paying attention to soft crunching that happened with every step he took. It was a regular occurrence to him now and even managed to be pleasure more often than not. Who would've thought that Hank Pym's invention would've changed Peter's life in such a drastic way. He ought to thank the scientist, but had a feeling he was probably embedded in the tread of his boots after he outgrew New York.

It had shocked Peter at first, how his massive size could cause so much destruction and pain without even trying. He fondly remembered trying to avoid stepping on anything and even taking measured steps, but somehow that made things even worse. He was just too large and anything he did would cause trouble for any microscopic human's below, so he needed to re-evaluate and come up with a new plan.

As the days, weeks and months wore on the hero ultimately decided that it would be up to him to reshape this world. Like his powers this new found size was a gift, something that he had to utilize for the greater good Uncle Ben had always told Peter 'with great power comes great responsibility' and those words really rang true, especially now.

Nearing the cities edge, Peter felt himself smirking slightly, knowing that what he was doing would help everyone in the long run. Also, it didn't hurt that he enjoyed the feeling of an entire civilization turning to dust underfoot after a few quick steps. He really ought to find a way to get these people to properly pay their respects, but that would be phase two of his plan. Right now he knew what he had to do and as his Aunt May said 'take it one step at a time'.
