v0.5 Goals and Progress (Patreon)

So I dropped that teaser pic a few days ago but didn't really have a lot to report on for the next update. I wanted to take some time to keep you guys in the loop with where the story is and what the actual plan is for this update.

For this update there are two main goals:

1. Finish Chapter 2: This would pick-up in the doc office and go beyond, finishing out that specific day. This update is very linear and probably has more writing and dialogue than I've added before. While I could try and rush through things, there are some very significant conversations and groundwork set within this dialogue that I want to make sure works. So I'm taking my time a bit.

     Status: Rough draft of the writing is finished through the end of
    Chapter 2.  I'm working on the CGs now but they take a really long time
    for me to do (see previous posts about my computer that renders as
    slow as old people fuck). Good news is that, because of the linear
    nature of this update, the testing for Chapter 2 should go fairly quick.

2. Add random dialogue events to Chapter 1: This is what you saw in v0.4 in Chapter 2. Essentially, I am trying to rework Chapter 1 to have random conversations or events that occur for choices. So when you click "study" there's a possibility of 2 random stories that will unfold for that study session. These will not change the trajectory of the chapter and is intended to mix things up a bit and make them seem less repetitive. In some cases, it may give more insight to character background or personality. Because of the number of choices and areas in Chapter 1, this is pretty intense to write. Progress is a little slower than I wanted but it's going. My goal is to have all of Chapter 1 redone by v0.5 but we'll see how it goes. To make this more manageable, I've broken it down into 2 specific areas.

     Tier 1: The daily interactions where Braden is dressed and sleeps in
    boxers/shirt. 

          Status: Mostly finished with the initial rough draft of the writing
         choices but still have 3 areas left to do. Have not started testing.

     Tier 2: Once the heat is fixed and Braden just wears boxers during
    daily interactions.

          Status: Minimal progress on it at this time. Only one or 2 areas
         done. No testing

Summary

So essentially, the priority will be moving the story first and minimally, getting Tier 1 of Chapter 1 reworked. If I have time, I want to do Tier 2 of Chapter 1 as this would give a more holistic and complete approach to the v0.5 update.
