Hello my dear friends! It’s been far too long since I’ve given you an update on upcoming projects. In my SLIGHT defense this time, I’m officially moving up to Washington! This will be an exciting new chapter in my life (I’ll be talking more about all that later, I assure you) but it also means that things have been and will continue to be crazy for a while. I’ve been extremely busy juggling work and house stuff. But hopefully once I get settled in my new place I’ll be able to make more stuff for you, and get back to streaming and all that goodness.

For now let’s take a look at what we’re currently cooking!

First up we’re putting the finishing touches on a Starfield review. It’s pretty long and releasing pretty after-the-fact so I don’t know how many people will care to watch it, but it’s something I’m interested in so I’m doing anyway DARN IT! And actually, while we’re on the subject…why don’t I just give you the draft I’ve got sitting right here? Sure, let’s do that! You can watch it early right here:

Next up, in just a couple days I’ve got a video weighing the possibility that the #RemasterThousandYearDoor “movement” might have actually had an influence on the game being made. So many people have brought it up that I thought it would be fun to discuss it. I wish I could give you that one early as well, but it’s got a sequence that we’ll probably be working on up to the last minute, so you’ll have to wait a bit.

Beyond that I’ve got a schedule all lined up, and things can always change, but at least at the moment this is how the rest of the month looks. Sega is actually sponsoring a Sonic Superstars video, so that’s really exciting. I’ve never been able to work directly with Sega before. So that will probably be out on launch day next week.

After that is a video discussing the question: can Nintendo repeat the Switch’s success? Basically can we expect the next system to be as successful as the Switch, or is there a chance they won’t quite stick the landing this time? Exactly the kind of speculation I love.

Then if all things go according to plan (which they could EASILY not considering all the moving stuff, unfortunately) I’d love to have a review of Super Mario Bros. Wonder done and posted. It might have to be delayed, but I’ll try my best.

Then finally, one more video born from the reveal of the Thousand Year Door remake. After Origami King we wondered if there was any hope for the classic Paper Mario formula to ever return. At the time I concluded that nahhhh, probably not. But now? Well, I think it’s time to open up the discussion again, don’t you?

That’s it for October, but we’ll be spending the next few months juggling all these normal videos as well as trying to finish the reviews I’m behind on. Namely, Pikmin 4 and Tears of the Kingdom. As always I can’t promise anything, but we’re working hard to get them out in December. And of course there’s also……..THAT OTHER PROJECT. We want that to release in December as well. But once again I must put off talking about THAT for another day. ;)

So that’s what’s going on! I’ll let you know if I’ve got more stuff to tell you! And as always, thanks so much for supporting the channel and being SO AWESOME I LOVE YOUUUUUUU

Excellent review! You're a great game reviewer/discusser in general, I always enjoy getting your takes on things in the wider games industry. Do you think the news roundups will ever make a comeback? I don't know how successful they were in terms of juice per squeeze.

Arlo I’m being completely serious when I say I haven’t cared out video games or Nintendo for quite a while yet I still watch all your vids and continue as a patron. I watch you for you like I’m sure many do so make whatever you want to make when you can. Life is crazy and short so do what you gotta do, also hope the move goes well!
