Whew! (Patreon)

Just drove back from Sacramento, and boy are Lockstin's car tired...!  Or something!

Seriously though, yesterday was Sac Gamers Expo, and I had a BLAST.  Lockstin and I sat at two tables in the Youtube room across from Andre from Black Nerd Comedy, who we got to meet, and who is a really awesome guy.  Super bubbly and friendly, and he even recognized me!

I got to meet way more fans than I ever could have anticipated; just dozens and dozens of them, felt like I was shaking hands and taking pictures all day.  And I have to say it was a weeeeird feeling.  I mean, good weird, for sure!  But just so unusual.  I've met a handful of the people I admire, and it's always a really intense experience and I'm super nervous and all that...  So to be on the other side of it was very surreal.  Being somewhere and having people not only recognize me but come up to me and want to talk just because I'm me...  Truly bizzare, but also just so amazing.  I already feel awesome when people online tell me how they like my stuff, but hearing it in person is something else entirely.  When you're on the receiving end you're a little like, "Oh man, I'm just me!  I'm nothin' special!" but some of those people obviously felt very strongly about the whole thing.  Talk about the warm fuzzies, man.  Rest assured, I will be hunting down other cons and whatnot whenever I get the opportunity.  I don't know how often that will realistically be, and I'll probably have to get quite a bit bigger to go to anything I can't comfortable drive to in a day, but it was really incredible and I absolutely can't wait to do it again.  Ooh, I got to touch a Nintendo Playstation prototype!  A real live one that you could play and everything!  That's an insane piece of history right there.  There was other cool stuff too, but those were the highlights.  I wish I had been able to shoot a bunch of stuff and make a whole video about it, but I was way too busy and distracted to do much.  Lockstin and I grabbed a couple clips and pictures, so you'll at least see those sometime.

Well it's a little nice to finally get all that out of the way so I can get back to videos!  Things are still on track for the three videos I told you about, so keep your fingers crossed I can manage all three, and that I can get enough done before the whole Christmas thing starts to make me completely worthless, ha.  I've got two big long scripts all written and ready to shoot though, so let's make it happen.

Thanks to the one or two new patrons this week, and mega thanks to any of you who I got to see yesterday!  I couldn't remember if any of my patrons were going or not, but I'll thank you just in case.
