Update Time (Patreon)

Hello my friends!  Just thought I'd stop by and tell you what's hizz-appenin'.  Or something.

My workcation was AWESOME, first of all.  I wasn't able to get weeks ahead and all that, but I did get a good amount of work done.  I really like the way the Wii tenth anniversary video turned out, it was fun to tell some of those stories about my time working at a game store.  (That's a source of humor that I need to tap into more sometime; lots of funny stuff happened at that store.)  I was able to record quite a lot of Wind Waker, probably enough to last me through the end of the year.  I spent most of my time working on the mysterious project known as Zelda Action Theater.  I've actually got most of it done, just waiting on a few things to come together so I can finish up the last bits and wrap it all up.  Not sure exactly when that will be, but I want it to be this month for sure.  It's looking really great and I can't wait to share it with everybody.

As for other stuff in December, the only really solid thing I've got at the moment is "How the Switch Could Ruin EVERYTHING," which I just decided I need to make a priority.  It will be the perfect sister video to my other one, and it will be interesting to go over aaaallllll the different ways Nintendo could potentially drop the ball.  A little more negative than the other one, obviously, but I feel it's an important part of the Switch discussion.

Doing something Christmasy would be cool, but I've got nothing solid yet.  The only idea I've got--which I'm not sure will happen this year--is a video explaining why Santa Claus Conquers the Martians is the "best" Christmas movie ever.  If you haven't seen it, it's this terrible old movie that's really hilarious.  If I look I'm sure I'll see that everyone's already done it, but I guess I'm somewhat interested in dipping my toes into the whole bad movie thing.  Just an idea though, got to see what happens.

I know that's not a ton of stuff planned, but hopefully some other stuff will fall into place and I'll be able to make this Switch video in a somewhat timely manner.  It's a little lame but I might have to put out another Wind Waker highlight reel to fill the slot this week unless I can think of something else short and easy or unless I just really blast through the Switch video.

Whatever the case, stay tuned!  I'm pretty far from my goal of 100k subscribers by the end of the year, especially considering my channel's in something of a lull as far as that goes, but I think another decent Switch video plus Zelda Action Theater (which I think could turn out really great) plus something else good if I'm lucky will get those numbers moving again.  I've got to try, at least!
