My favourite treat! (Patreon)

For a little treat to myself I went to the nail spa in the morning.. I really love going but its been so long.
Fun Soapydaze trivia: I am actually a certified nail tech 😁 but I never carried on into that line of work so Im not exactly a pro..  but also... DIY because all the spas were closed was more of a needs must than a treat! No fun doing your own pedi!

So i realise that its been freaking ages since I indulge these feet as they truly deserve (for various reasons) but today is the day!

Skipped to my aall time favourite nail spa to see the guys!
Yes guyysss 😜 the place I go to is run by a lady but its staffed by her husband, brother, cousin etc and they are all men except there is sometimes a couple of other girls .. but usually 9 times out of 10 I have my treatment done by the guys and they are great!

Eveen though I havent been in over a year 😅 they remembered me and were happy to see me without a booking first thing when I turned up...they are a really casual place and tbh that is why I like it.. everyone is usually singing to the radio and chatting or having some coffee etc its a good relaxed environment.. I prefer it to the more uptight places honestly I just want to turn up in casual clothes and relax so thats why I choose this place.

First i go sit at the spa chair while they fill it up for me, the chair is like a massage chair and honestly this is why the pics of the actual pedi are soo crap 😅😅😂 if you take into account the massage chair and me trying to stifle my pleasureful massage noises then the pics are not so bad as they first appear..I did a good job 😇😜

They give me the colour swatch books to choose which colour polish which take me a long time.. i narrowed it down to 2 and let the guy pick so I hope you will think it was a good choice 🤔💖
Im so indecisive but its fun! Next time I will take a photo of the colour books and maybe we can do a vote or something on here to choose the colour? Ill figure it out.. Ill have to narrow it down some how though cause theres loads hehe. Oh maybe a lucky draw from all of you and then 1 winner gets to pick the next shade..that could be fun! Any ideas guys...let me know!

So anyway, the nail tech sits on a little stool in front of my massage chair (throne 😋👑) and its around 30mins the whole session, he does a whole load of treatments, massaging and treating my bare feet with various lotions and potions.. placing them back into the water, towelling them off on his lap on his little stool. Its a lot of fun as you can imagine Im sure!

The whole time i was being served other ladies kept coming in for 'walk ins' (non booked appointments) so by the time I was finished they had 4 or 5 ladies on 2 sofas of ladies waiting for attention to their hands and feet..all sitting with magazines or phones and coffee..keeping their eye on the men at work.. who will finish first and be seeing them...who is doing the nicest job? Some of the regulars are taking of shoes and putting flip flops on like i did when i arrived while they decide which treatment they will get. I was thinking wow these 2 will be playing with feet all day non stop!
They actually called their colleague on speaker phone and told him he needs to get an uber and come to work hahaha.... I wish i would have had 1 of your numbers to give them right! 🤤😜👣

Next up just to put flip flops back on to pay and ofc a nice tip because they treat me very nice and do a good job... I didnt mention how many people will see his work...or maybe how many people now have a plan to come donk him on his head before his shift next time my appointment is scheduled 😂😂😂 lets not worry him heheeee.
Socks and sneakers back on..

Then skip home with my new angelic feet all happy and shiny inside my shoes bouncing me along the street yay.

What a nice morning! Dont forget to have a little 30mins treat sometimes guys its important!

But also more importantly.... what do you actually think of the new nail polish colour?! Its looked like more of an anemone purple in the book but its like a super parroty pink now. Opinions?
