[Masters Series] #1 - Aqua Team Mega Force (Patreon)

Team Aqua Leader Archie is here alongside Mega Sharpedo!

I was worried this set would take me a lot longer than it actually did, and wasn't sure if it would even work out, so I didn't do much previewing on the WIP channel of our Discord. Still, it all worked out in the end.

Sharpedo's set was originally released quite some time ago and she's finally Mega Evolved! Truthfully, I simply forgot to do her Mega form back then and when I realized I forgot, I was busy doing other stuff. Since we're tackling a bunch of Water Moemon this month, it felt appropriate to finally finish her. I still have to do the family's regional set (meaning, update their old sets becuase the old sprites still kick ass), but that'll come later.

Archie is Gen 3's Team Aqua Leader, but like Cyri before, I've designed a more original Female appearance with inspiration taken from some genderbent artwork of Archie online. If I had a dollar for every piece of Archie genderbent art online I'd have like $3. Which isn't much, but it's weird that it's happened thrice.

This is the primary design I focused on and I think, for the most part, I've nailed down the look as close as I could feasible get. Regrettably, while zippers DO exist in KK, the "node" to attach it to absolutely SUCKS. There's no attachment point below the chest area, the nearest being "Upper Waist" but, inevitable, contorting the body in slight ways moves the zipper way off, so screw it.

Anyways, everything else is pretty much custom and took quite a long time to get right. I'm not an artist so these things are a pain in the ass for me to do, but, I always love the end result and this is no exception.
