Nightmare on Christmas Eve (Patreon)

Phantump and Trevenant are here! Again!

These two were some of my favorites when I released them back in October, and given their design (trees, elfish, etc), it seemed almost too fitting to stylize them in a Christmas-y format. They're Ice/Ghost types, too, like Froslass!

I figure it's been awhile since we had some "original" regional forms, after all. This is my take on a Sinnoh variant; what Phantump and Trevenant would look like if found on Route 217, and other adjacent areas, as the description of the route reads: Snow blows down from Mt. Coronet and grows into a harsh, ceaseless blizzard. Be prepared for the worst.

The original X/Y Dex entry for Phantump reads:

So, Route 217, south of Acuity Lakefront and near Snowpoint City, is a treacherous area where the "worst" (ie, death) occurs frequently - lost children wandering away from the safety of Snowpoint City perish and well, use your imagination. Pokemon can be really dark sometimes.

Anyways, that's my pitch/complaint that Gamefreak didn't think to include some regional variants in the BDSP remakes. Come on, it fits perfectly, right? Maybe a bit? Well, either way, for the Moemon version, I guess they're just slutty Snow Elves or something.

I enjoyed decorating their hair with ornaments at least.
Also, they jiggle when in motion, so it's neat.
