Mini-Update: Latias/Latios, and I Wish I Wasn't Banned From Most Social Media Platforms Edition (Patreon)

It sucks being banned from a lot of social media platforms, like Twitter, for example, as I could really use them to do some status updates here and there on current progress. Actually, thinking about it now, I could probably make a page over on Blogger or something, for minor updates and WIP stuff.

Anyways, I just wanted to mention that, while things are still mostly going according to schedule, I have to delay tonight's Spheal/Sealeo/Walrein post for at least one more night. I'm mostly finished with them, but I have a severe tooth ache that I need to get fixed tomorrow morning. Kind of last minute, but this tooth pain has been bothering me on/off for months, and now that it's getting winter/colder at night, the pain has been just constant for few days. It's making me oversleep and when I am actually awake, I'm just in pain.

Enough's enough!

I've had wisdom teeth and molars extracted before, so I don't suspect it'll put me out of commission; in other words, we should still be on track to release everything else on time.

Anyways, since I have you here, I wanted to do a little preview of Latias/ Latios. First, let's look at a couple of sprites!

These two above are the most recent iterations of their design, which I don't believe are currently in the newest Moemon release yet. While I like the designs a lot, I'm one of those that really dislike Male Moemon - not only because I don't think males can be "moe" - I mean, let's not fight about it, but I believe the definition of Moe literally only applies to females.

Either way, the other reason I don't like working with them is because KK is very strict and weird when it comes to male creations. Your outfits immediately get limited to like, 5 outfits, and everything else tries to attach to the nipples in a weird way that doesn't look good for a flat-chested male.

ANYWAYS, my point is, I dug through some old sprites earlier and found these:

The Latias has been used before in the Mega Moemon romhack, but this is actually the first time I saw the female Latios sprite today. I love them, particularly the hair colors (instead of just white). So my current plan is to use these female versions as the bases for Latias/Latios, while possibly designing their secondary outfit slots on the newer sprites (first pictured above).

The wings also look stupid on both. I'm making my own based on the original 'mon.

So basically triangles with little triangles sticking out of it.

Also why does Latias have gold eyes while Latios has red eyes?

Should I make Latias with blue eyes? Red hair + blue eyes IS pretty cutey.

Or should Latios have silver eyes instead of Red? Get it? Like, Latias is Red/Gold and Latios is Blue/Silver? Like a Silver-Eyes Blue Dragon? Yea? No?

Whatever, expect them this weekend, after Glacia and her Froslass team.
