Update #30 - Extended Previews! (Patreon)

Happy Wednesday, everyone!

Bit of a short update today since we're still finishing up the starter Moemon, with the Treecko family coming up next on Friday (more on that in a minute). For now, a real life update!

California (my state) is under semi-lock down orders, so you'd think I'd have more time to work on this project, but actually, I have less! My real job (surprise! I've been doing this all along while juggling priorities!) is deemed essential, which means I'm still working, though my hours are unchanged.

My free time gets gobbled up, since it's a constant battle of driving to 3, 4, 5 different stores just to find basic supplies! And, on top of that, more development has gone into each card and I only plan to increase quality from here.

Shiny versions had to be sacrificed, but I still look for opportunities. I wanted to do a set for the Wurmple family, but that would have been 10 cards total and way too much work for Beautifly!

That all said, I'm particularly excited by the next few releases. Unlike before, we're going to take things a bit differently - instead of rushing through. For example, we will see the first Gym Leader next month, but before her, there's some other things I want to release. Let's check it out below!

As mentioned, the Treecko family is coming up, alongside Brooke:

Remember when I said there weren't any Moemon sprites available for Mega Swampert & Sceptile? Yeah.. turns out there are, and I didn't know until recently! They aren't of satisfactory quality, however, so I still intend to wait for newer/updated sprites, but when available I'll release all three together.

Now then, here's a peak at what's on the horizon (after the Emerald pack), in no particular order:

Probably the two I'm most excited for in this set, Tailow and Swellow! These were some of the main inspirations to start this project.

The adorable Wingull and THICC Pelipper. She has an alternate sprite, I believe.

Who can forget the Petalburg Woods' native shroom?

And while we're in the woods, our first run in to..

Finally, Team Aqua & Magma are coming!
