Legendary #5 - Mew! (Patreon)

Our final* Gen 1 Legendary is here - Mew!

Our favorite pink flying cat from South America, Mew, has been theorized to be the ancestor of all MoeMon, since she can learn every TM, HM, and move tutor move (except exclusives). Her first "appearance" in Gen 1 is very unorthodox - She was only put into the game 2 weeks before the game's release (coincidentally 2 weeks before we finish the Gen 1 series here), and there was no legitimate way of obtaining her without the use of glitches, the primary method of which is using the Ditto/Mew glitch - coincidentally, Ditto was also released today! It's almost as if this was all planned (it wasn't)!

Mew has a full outfit set, but one of her slots copies her big/little sister Mewtwo's default outfit, because Mew looks super adorable cosplaying as her big/little sister Mewtwo!

Overall, Mew is a simplistic design, and it's the main reason I saved her for last - I want more complex/accessory heavy Legendaries to be released early, so you can enjoy that exclusivity longer. Expect that pattern going forward with the first Gen 2 Legendaries!

Note: As Legendaries are Patron-exclusive until all of the Moemon in the Gen they are in are released first, it should be noted that the current plan is to release the final two Gen 1 Moemon on the 24th, and after a week it will go public.

This means the entire Gen 1 Legendaries will release on the 1st of December, which I'm happy to say will be our first Gen 2 Legendary for those who continue to support - of any Tier! This way you'll always have at least something exclusive, for a time.
