Update #17 - What's next? +Week-in-Review! (Patreon)

Happy Tuesday, everyone!

Unfortunately, today's other release (Omanyte/Omastar) will have to be delayed! I've spent way too much time trying to make them look like their sprites, but unfortunately it doesn't seem possible with the limited mods we have in KK, even with basic shapes. Here's a look at their sprites, so you can see where the trouble is:

Yup, their helmet shells. Spirals just don't exist yet for mods (well, there's one, but it's garbage), and it's frustratingly difficult to use basic shapes to create one from scratch. Omastar is actually a bit easier (though still accessory heavy), but alas, Omanyte is a pain in the ass.

So, I've decided to use some creative freedoms with both - I have some plans for them both, but unfortunately we've ran out of time in the day to finish them, and I wanna get this update out before it's too late! So for now, Omanyte/Omastar will have to wait :(

Finally, I've updated all mods through the KKManager included with the Repack. I'd recommend you all update to ensure maximum compatibility with any future releases, as there's tons of new hairstyles added with accessories, and I plan to use them very soon!

What's Next?

Our final Gym Leader is arriving this Thursday - Giovanni (name pending)! Alongside two of her iconic Moemon, Rhyhorn & Rhydon.

This weekend will also bring us 4 more Moemon, in no particular order: Scyther, Pinsir, Porygon, and Ms. Mime!

Friday will also be a special card - not a Legendary, per se, but some would say even better! So keep a look out for that.

More importantly, next Tuesday will see a large release, as we'll finally be entering the Indigo Moemon League! Tuesday will be the first Elite Four member - Lorelei! Alongside will be two iconic Ice-Type Moemon: Jynx and Lapras!

We're rapidly approaching the end of the Gen 1, with very few Moemon left to release, so it'll be an exciting few weeks ahead.
