Omniwaifus Vol. 1 (Patreon)

Yeah, that's right, Vol. 1, because this past December 27th, the Ben 10 franchise hit its fifteenth anniversary. Originally I was just going to do a couple of these, just some personal favorites like Ghostfreak or Upgrade. But because my family was in the process of moving, and with the plan changing on a day to day basis, having no idea what we're doing on what day and for how long, just the most inefficient way anyone has probably handled any move, something that really should just be as simple as taking the stuff from the old house and putting them in the new one, severely limiting my time to work, so through a combination of trying and failing hard to stay caught up with commissions, similarly trying and failing to stay caught up with stuff for here, which is why January was missing its second poll pic, and also trying to draw Christmas gifts for my friends like I usually do, not a single of which is still finished yet, getting even just a couple Omnitrix alien pinups out in time for the 27th was just not happening.

But unlike the butt expansion pic I was gonna do for Kingdom Hearts III's release day, I tried to make more of an effort to be okay with that. And if they're gonna be belated anyway, then I might as well go all out and do ALL of them and distribute them over the course of several months. After all, as much as you don't have to go far to find sexy fanart of the Omnitrix aliens, I couldn't find any evidence of anyone doing all of them. That's one benefit to Ben 10 having always been a niche fandom even among niche fandoms. Still a ton of untapped territory even to this day.

And when I'm done with the original series aliens, I might even move on to the Alien Force ones and so on. At that point I'll probably just do what I was originally gonna and stick to a few favorites, or maybe I'll go clinically insane before then and actually do all 60+ aliens with only a couple obvious ones left out (like the one literally named "The Worst", don't count on seeing that one) over the course of the whole rest of the year. After all, unlike Kingdom Hearts III, a video game that you play for maybe a couple days and then beat, Ben 10 is a TV show originally intended to be consumed over the course of several years, particularly back when I was a kid, when several years still felt like several years. 

So for a show that meant so much to me as a kid, that shaped my tastes in media just as much as Kingdom Hearts did to the point that most creature designs I drew in my notebooks in high school wouldn't look out of place with an Omnitrix badge on them, a show I often describe as having been to me as a kid what Ninja Turtles was to kids in the 80s, would it not be fair to just treat its entire fifteenth year as something to celebrate, rather than just the day said year begins?

And to let you know, no, they're not all gonna be ass shots, as I also wanted to challenge myself and follow the "rules" more closely than I normally would and avoid non-mammalian mammaries as much as I could, not that that's a trope I ever normally cared about, as it's not even really a rule in real life nature, as platypuses break it hard, so I never understood why people get so bent out of shape about lizard girls being allowed to have boobs. But if I could just challenge myself to draw a sexy Stinkfly, throw boobs on it, and call it a day, that would be a little too easy. And with how often Ben would choose the seemingly-obvious alien only for the Omnitrix to fuck out and give him the wrong one, forcing him to improvise, (something I always interpreted as the Omnitrix doing on purpose, I never bought the notion that it was just broken and glitching, as Ben coming in clutch with what it gave him just happened too often to be a coincidence) I just feel it would be more in the spirit of the show to do it that way.
