Really glad I got a chance to have Djamila meet Jasmine, what with her being like half the influence for Djamila, and the other half being the genie from the same movie. Believe it or not, no design influence from Shantae as the mods at DA would have you believe.

So wait, the DA mods have such a powerful vendetta against Shantae that even anything that looks vaguely like her is getting taken down?

Kinda. They took down the last Shantae pic I did, then I posted it again censored, then they took it down again, then I spent an entire day where I should have been getting something else done drawing Djamila in Shantae's place in another layer folder and changing up the text box to spell out that she's not only over eighteen, but actually in her fifties, and then they took it down again. That time I disputed it, the mods didn't budge, then I put on my Karen wig and took it to the help desk only to get a probably auto-generated response from some tool named Justin. Nothing else I've ever drawn of her ever got taken down, and I was finally able to get that pic of her onto DA by removing the background and not tagging it as "Shantae" or "Wayforward," and that got it to stay, so truthfully I don't think they actually took it down for looking like Shantae but rather that they could tell I was being a smartass, but it was still a disgusting abuse of power so I like to bring it up any time I can so nobody forgets how garbage DA is as a platform.
