1st April (no, it's not an April Fools Journal) (Patreon)

Just to say I'm officially making a start on this month's Patreon content.  

So thank you very much to everyone who continues to support me on here, as always.

Also thank you for participating in the recent poll - it was interesting to see it wasn't an unanimous decision.  But I didn't feel right defaulting to that certain camping game because a) I couldn't care less about it anyway and b) wouldn't that make me a hypocrite if suddenly out of the blue, I started drawing it?  I do relish a challenge, it's true but... 

I don't know whether I should pause Patreon after the payment cycle ends either, given the extraordinary circumstances we all find ourselves in now (in the UK's case, since mid-March).  Is it worth another poll, I wonder?

Anyway, that's all I wanted to say on here for now.  Oh, and out of nowhere, Patreon started this marketing campaign... I simply got an email last night and a link to this video.  I don't really understand what it is they're wanting me to do exactly.  Did something happen somewhere or is it a response to the rising criticism of the platform??

Anyway, I thought it wise to say something in case anything strange appears to you because you're a Patron.  I didn't will any of it.   That's all.
