Hello everyone!

I have some news for you all, that won't affect any of you but I wanted to keep you informed.

The other day SimsDom contacted me and we made a deal regarding the hairs I post here. For you, things will remain as they are now, you will get everything I make here just like you've been doing since I started this page.

The change is that after the early access period, my posts won't become public. Instead I will upload the hair to SimsDom while maintaining the post here, just that it will be locked for patrons. The difference is that I will upload there the base hair, while chunky and bicolour versions will remain here as a plus for all of you.

Since I started with the chromatic collection I've been working more than 3 times of what I used to do before, as each hair is at least 3 hairs. When I make extra things like with/without bangs, or accessory, one hair can become 6 or even more, and I want that to be especially done for you.

When I make those things they aren't something bad for me, I mean, that extra work is done because I really love it. Since I started my patreon I feel free to do whatever I want with my hairs, and experiment new things, such as the chromatic collection, the chunky/bicolour hairs, etc. I love experimenting with new things and I have the luck of being able to share what I create with others.

At this point some of you might be thinking about EA's TOU, and this is one subject I wanted to address long time ago but I've been scared to do that as this community can be very harmful sometimes.

You might know this post, as it's the anthem of many people in this community. I read EA's TOU many times, both in Spanish and English (they use some technical words so I need to make sure I got it), and they talk user generated content (UCG) that is generated using EA service. That means, content made with an EA service, like a sim made with their game, a house made with their game. You get the idea.

I make everything from scratch. I do the hairs in 3ds max, I paint the textures by hand using Procreate and Photoshop, I make the packages using Sims 4 Studio, and .package format is open. So yeah, the game can read the package and it's being used by the game, but it's not, by far, made using the game.

And here is where these messages, made by the same guru that posted the early access thing on the forum, explains how it is applied. Honestly I wish those messages were added to the main post, because I feel that people only like to pick what fits better their interests.

All the stuff I make required me years of practice, and a lot of work and effort, and it really bothers me when people pretend that what I made belongs to them. And it's not. I understand that not everyone wants to spend money on digital things, but they are as worth as physical items. The fact that you want an iPhone doesn't mean you deserve one.

I also understand that not everybody has the same age, or the same situation, or doesn't work, etc. So the early access thing is something I've been doing since the first day I started patreon, but seeing how the community still complains if I don't release the hair exactly 21 days after I posted it annoys me.

I've been a kid, I wanted Peggy/Rose stuff when I was a kid, and I know how it feels when you just can't get it. Thankfully I was able to pay few months thanks to my father. That's why I will continue offering my hairs for free at SimsDom after a month, so these people can enjoy my creations as well, while maintaining here the especial editions for you.

I am so grateful for having you all, seriously, I am. There's no better feeling than people liking something you made, and reading all your comments make me very happy, and I hope I am not sounding shallow, and the fact that you appreciate my work, which is something I've read a lot here, gives me a very comforting feeling.

I am sorry for the long post, but it was something I wanted to get out of my chest and I didn't know how or when. Also if you have any suggestion or would like to tell me something, feel free to do so, I'd love to hear your point of view regarding this, as there might be things that you don't agree with and would help me a lot knowing them.

Hope you all have a great day, and thank you for taking your time reading this. ❤
