Bicolour Hairstyles? (Patreon)

Hi there!

The other day I was asked about doing bicolor hairstyles and my first response was no because the way that the chromatic collection works it wouldn't be possible but... I managed to do it with a workaround (Leaving half of the hair as plain colour, no roots/ombré for it)

Are you interested in having this (in all chromatic hairs) or not?

Will you still be making hairs on here that don't use the Chromatic Collection? My current pc can't run it, and I need to know if I should just get your free hairs on tsr.

How's that you can't run it? They don't take more resources than TSR hairs, in fact, they need less hard disk space as you only need to have the textures once. If you have any issue with it, let me know and I'll help you solve it :)

Yes we want!! We NEED a good split dye. Like if its optional i dont see why people would write that they absolutely dont want it when people want it(the vote). I personally love the idea of being able to use green and yellow at the same time🤩

Yep it will be all optional. It's taking me some time because I have to clone the hairs and edit them to work with it, it's not just the texture. I finished the 2nd hair with it, hope you like the preview 😂.

I LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE IT OMG im so happy this is now an option, the whole chromatic options are so good it reminds me of the color wheel in the sims 3 so much. but now with the split dye option its even more advanced then the sims 3 color wheel! its so good like shii..

Thank youuuuuu <3 Oh with Sims 3 it was kind of possible, and easier to make than for sims 4 hahaha. I also wanna try making the bicolor thing as full hair one colour, and the front bangs another, seems that thing is trendy lately hahaha. I kind of hate myself for doing this 😂 now every new hair has the work of 3 hairs hahahaha

It's okay! There's no problem with that. I personally don't like it either, I also don't like neon colours, but many people do, so I thought it'd be cool to make it for those that like it 😊 Also it's just an update to the chromatic collection, it's not going to replace the way it works now.

I can run it in my game, but I don't think my graphics card is good enough for the new hairs. When I zoom out in game the textures change and the hair turns yellow.

They're just textures, they don't enhance the graphics of your game or change anything about it so it's safe to use them :) As for the yellow hair, do you have laptop mode OFF in graphics settings?

I think it would be cool if you had some more neutral options for the bicolour hairstyles, like blonde and brown!

You can use the 100 colours that are already in the collection and combine them the way you want ☺️ I will make a post explaining everything when they’re ready 😄
