Farmer / farm hand, put out of business by the Governor. Now serving as a worker for hire that you can later acquire to be your maid if player housing every becomes an option. You should be able to buy things like "wild berries" and other cheap (food) items from her.

Baker was my first thought, but looking at some of the other suggestions, I like milk maid, farmer and laundress too.

I was thinking baker too. If she was a launderess she'd have a couple of pails on a yoke.
