Patreon exclusive - Schaub Lorenz 5001 extras. (Patreon)

This month's Patreon Exclusive goes into more detail on the Schaub Lorenz video from last week.
I've uploaded the audio I've captured from the machine so far in this folder. http://pc.cd/SxtitalK
A few notes about these audio clips. If you hear a sentence being cut off mid flow - that's not me - that's down to the person who made the recordings in the 1970s. If there's only two minutes of something then that's all there was for that particular show. Often they paused the recording at exactly the point I wanted to listen to more. So I'd hear "and now here's the news..." - and then the audio jumps to half way through a Rod Stewart song.
As mentioned in the video above, most of the recordings are of the popular records of the time being played on the radio - something that I can't legally distribute. But I'm far more interested in the ephemeral recordings in between those records, the things that might not exist anywhere else outside this machine.
The music on the other hand is still available elsewhere - if a top 30 record was played on the radio in 1977, it's more than likely you can still stream that same track today.
One of those tracks I heard that's now got firmly stuck in my head again is Mah nà mah nà by Piero Umiliani (I only remembered the Muppets' version) - So if you want to listen to that, it's on YouTube https://youtu.be/bBPnRh9U8ZE as well as Spotify, Apple Music et al.
I'm still capturing the audio one track at a time - by next month I should have some more clips uploaded.
