A while ago in a pat-ex video I mentioned how I wanted to try making a different kind of repair video.

So here's what I came up with - it's unconventional, but hopefully also provides a modicum of entertainment. It's perhaps worth mentioning that if I hadn't made it, my alternative was to delete the 'footage' I'd shot and move on to my next project.

Turntable SOS : 'Repair' of a Pioneer PL-88FS drawer-loading turntable

The Pioneer PL-88FS (circa 1984) *was* supposed to be one of the better quality drawer loading record players. However that was 35 years ago and this turntable has had a hard life. Spoiler: Over the years I've learned that humour doesn't travel well on the literalnet so be prepared for a few "that's not real" observations regarding the ending with its deliberate 'mistakes'.
