An update on what's going on and what's not going on. No major developments, just a chat.

Update: Apparently the original upload of this came across as being negative. This was not my intention - I just wanted to report back on everything that had been going on with me since the last update, the pros and the cons.

However so as not to come across as a miserable curmudgeon - I’ve done a re-edit to make things lighter. The version you now find embedded above is the easy-going fluffy version . However if you want the full length one that might lead you to embracing the dark side - it’s linked here: https://youtu.be/AuxVKc6aWF0 So it’s your call. It’s an interactive ‘Choose your Mood’ adventure.

If I'm understanding your request for a visualizer properly (it needs to be able to take the audio stream from a microphone/audio input, and spit out visualization from that audio, whilst running on a RasPi) -- I think that VLC should do the trick? Most Linux distributions have it available to install, and VLC definitely has built-in visualizers for playing back audio. I was able to set up a mic-fed visualization in under 5 minutes in VLC on Windows. Is that something you'd like me to look into a little closer? Or is that perhaps something you've already tried and don't want? :)

No that’s it, I haven’t looked at the VLC visualisers...but a mic-resposnsive version is exactly what I’d like, as then it would work with all audio.

New patron here, I’ve been a fan of your work for about 12 months now, thank you so much for all you do. On the angry photographers topic, I just saw this video where two photographers address the same issue, thought it was funny you mention it when I just saw this earlier today https://youtu.be/Thm2ZeWg_bQ anyway, thanks again!

Thanks for the link. It’s good to know that I’m not alone with experiencing this. It’s a shame that it goes on...but I feel that things are a lot better here on Patreon. I’ve yet to interact with anyone with an axe to grind here.
