Consider this a down-payment on my promise to deliver a behind the scenes video. After this one I aim to do post-mortem videos in the future for some of the more elaborate projects. So you can expect more incessant rambling to appear at sporadic intervals.

In the meantime here's this...

UPDATE: Video added (whoops).

Apologies for the missing video earlier.  Last night I scheduled this post to go out this morning and everything looked good. Somehow though while the saved version of the post showed a thumbnail of the video, when it went live it had vanished.

Some really great stuff there - I think we've lived parallel lives because I appreciate and remember all of those.

Visiting electronics stores was totally a thing! I remember family holidays to London where me and my dad would spend an entire afternoon on Tottenham Court Road (my mother went to see other sights in London on those days, for some reason 🙄) checking out what cool new stuff might arrive on our shores months later. Sometimes it would take another six months for a new product to be launched here in Sweden, and some other products never saw a Scandinavian launch at all! Today, everything is available on-line to everyone everywhere. Which is a good thing, for sure. Still, just checked out Tottenham Court Road on Google Street View and these days it seems to be a street full of furniture shops. A very strange, and somewhat melancholic, sight indeed. Anyway, a wonderful video. Didn't mind it being "chatty" at all. On the contrary, it was very fascinating to be able to get an insight into what you do.

I took a detour down Tottenham Court Road a few years ago while I was passing through London for work and there were just couple of normal electrical chain shops, but no thrill of seeing something new. It’s a shame, but things move on. At least I have those memories, many younger people won’t.
