I usually don't like flashback episodes, but seeing backstories of both Aeryn and Pilot was pretty cool. I like how we get to understand how Pilot came to Moya and this episode and the previous one showed sides of Pilot that we haven't really seen before. I don't think anyone watching the show had any doubt Aeryn was with other people before John. So, for John to start getting a little jealous didn't seem right. Besides, it's not like he hasn't had other relationships. What I don't know if some caught was that Velorek did in fact sabotage Crais' project by preventing Moya from getting pregnant. So, if you recall, in S1E1, in attempting to escape, Dargo pulled out a bunch wires including the control collar and the mechanisms in place that kept Moya from being pregnant. The result of that was that Moya became pregnant. Also want to add that the outrage the other cast had to Aeryn when they found out she participated in killing the first pilot was a bit overboard for me. I was hoping everyone was past that. They all did things to Pilot and Moya that were not good decisions. This was a good episode and I was surprised it rated so high in IMDb, not that I am complaining, just it's a standalone filled with flashbacks. Truthfully, once you get about midpoint in this season, I would argue that most of the rest of those episodes are just as good, if not better than this one. Farscape really finds it's footing around the mid point of S2 and begins to dig into its main story arcs. Looking forward to more Farscape. It's such a fun show.
