The High Road- Thank you so much for another fantastic reaction to a great episode of Person of Interest, Jay!! Once again, I enjoy this episode very much. Just as I love every episode. I like this episode's simplicity and I really love how Reese goes undercover with Zoe as husband and wife in a suburban neighborhood, with Bear too. I also really like Graham and his wife in this episode as well. And Zoe and Carter are both fantastic throughout this episode! :) Yes... I agree with you about the bad guys throughout this episode. They're pretty lame, and I hate them as well. But overall... I love the overall storyline involving Graham's story arc throughout this episode. I'm sure Graham could have taken these bad guys out sooner, but I feel like he was just worried about his wife and daughter. Worried that there might be more men involved who could harm them if he refused to play along with the bad guys' scheme, or worried that he would wind up in prison. After all... All of this is happening before Graham makes the wise decision to turn himself in by the end in order to do what's right for his family, with the faith that his wife and daughter will forgive him, and the trust that he will get off with a lighter sentence for doing the right thing in the eyes of the law as well. As for the actress who plays Graham's wife, Alicia Witt... She has played in a number of movies I love such as, Two Weeks Notice with Sandra Bullock and Hugh Grant, The Last Holiday with Queen Latifah and Timothy Hutton, and she also guest stars in a number of shows I love too. She's also in a bunch of Hallmark movies too. Alicia Witt is a great actress! And I absolutely love seeing how the Machine winds up bringing Finch together with Grace, as it notices that Grace sets herself apart from everyone else because she's so good and pure. It's wonderful! Also... I can't believe that you don't remember this actress from before! She was in season one's twenty-second episode... No Good Deed. Grace is the woman who is engaged to Finch before he faked his death. Played by actress, Carrie Preston, who is married to Michael Emerson in real life. The reason and point of this backstory for Finch, is simply to show us how Finch comes to know who Grace is before they ever meet, as the Machine points her out to him and basically sets him up on a date with the perfect woman for him. Which I love! Overall... I really love the storyline for this episode. I love seeing Reese and Zoe become husband and wife for this episode and seeing them just relaxing for a night as they play poker. Did they hook up for the night? That's the million dollar question, and we'll never know. :) I also love that Reese saves Graham from making the mistake of killing the bad guys, and that despite Reese urging Graham to come with him to escape once he saved him from being killed, Graham turns himself in to the cops in order to take the punishment for his past actions. It shows what a good man Graham really is. Excellent! Thank you so much for another fun reaction, Jay! I can't wait for more!! So, until next time... Sincerely, Heidi
