To be fair, some people become so dumb when it comes to love, at least at the start when they're totally smitten with someone. Although this season is definitely by far the weakest one.

So yeah Peter has appeared to have been dumb, that's a given. But hey love is blind. But if you are going to justifiably rag on him relentlessly, please try not to forget absolutely every other main cast member. Because they all seem to have been fooled. Walter is smart, fooled, Astrid is smart fooled. Broyles is smart, fooled. They've established multiple times in previous episodes, then again in this one. That this form of interuniverse travel are performed by the exchange of objects of equal mass. Cars, buildings and people are performed with the same principle. The original plan was to exchange Olivias, but minus her 🧠 with that mass replaced. When our Olivia escaped, they switched her with their Broyles. So either they did that to him, cutting parts off him to make his corpse of equal mass to Olivia. Or the result of the exchange caused his butched and charred body being left in her place. It seems like very dark but simple ugly logic to me. 🤮 I've leant towards the idea that they did it, considering they were prepared to cut up Olivia. I'm not sure how safe it would have been for their Olivia if it wasn't an exchange of equal mass. But I could have misunderstood some of the details myself.
