Just a few points... -They can probably cure radiation poisoning pretty easily (think about Helo on Caprica in season 1), but maybe not beyond a certain point, which is likely what those radiation badges were warning about. So after each trip they probably injected the meds, recovered quickly, and went back out. -Kat was definitely trying to screw that guy over. That's why that scene was intercut with her running her hands over the Raptor, getting nice and irradiated before getting with him. -That guy was probably able to wander around because there are only so many security personnel or marines left, and Galactica took on a lot of civilians for this operation since Galactica is hardened against radiation, and those civvie ships aren't. People will easily slip through the cracks. This has been an issue all along though, because of the relatively small crew size. It's a huge ship, and they can't monitor everyone and every location as well as they would like. -Notice where Kara put the picture... right under the picture of that one pilots girlfriend, the one Kat was trying to remember the name of in "Scar". I thought that was a nice touch.
