It cut off a little too soon. But I loved this episode it’s my fave of the season. Starlights great everyone is great. Kinda went back to the start of season 5 where she was being controlling to get what she wants and that’s still somehow a opinion for her.

Loved this episode don’t know what’s about it but I love it when characters in shows get controlled in some kind of way

We get a return to Starlight's freakishly strong magic skills, but also a return to her first solution always being to cast a spell. The episode also explores her social anxiety a bit more. The fact that Starlight is scared of baking a cake with Pinkie because she feels like she's not good enough to do so, is likely something many who deal with anxiety can relate to. Starlight's inability to see her own worth has been an ongoing theme since her introduction. If you've ever wanted to see the Mane Six hungover, this episode is as close as we're going to get with their "magic hangover." Funny that Rarity asks Fluttershy of all ponies to be a little more quiet. I also like that both Twilight and Rainbow Dash give Starlight a little piece of their mind. It's a lot more realistic than just having the ponies accept the mistake and move on immediately. Also Big Mac hiding from a predatory animal a la Arnold Schwarzenegger in Predator was gold. On to the next one!
