Hey guys, we are back with another new show requested by the glorious Colleen!  Avatar was a ride I was waiting to take for a long time now and I really enjoyed it.  This looks like a change of pace and its also a lot shorter so we shall see where it goes!

Yes! Super excited to see you watch this show, it's one of my favorites! It's created by J.G. Quintel, who also made Regular Show, which aired alongside Adventure Time for a long time. Both shows, this and Regular Show, are very similar in how the episodes flows- start out with a relatively benign/normal concept, that somehow turns into a crazy supernatural or just weird ending. They both even feature what is basically a self insert of the creator as the main character, Mordecai in Regular Show and Josh here. Where they differ is in the normal scenario they're grounded in - Regular Show, being in your 20s, discontent with your boring job, etc, and Close Enough, being in your 30s, having a family and a young child, etc. One thing that's worth knowing about the first season was that it was all originally written as full, 22 minute episodes. After they were finished, they made the decision to cut them up into 11 minute episodes (except for the last episode), which the creator is very familar with from Regular Show. This explains stuff like why we didn't see any of Alex and Bridgette babysitting Candace, or why the episodes are sometimes labelled individually or as two in one.

The creator of Close Enough is also the creator of Regular Show, which I highly recommend if you haven’t watch it. It’s a long watch but it’s one of the best shows on Cartoon Network of all time.
