My Little Pony season 5 Episode 16 Rarity Investigates!

It's a lot of fun when they play around with the styles of episodes; the Noir elements were used wonderfully, and the mystery was fair. This poses an interesting question for Rainbow Dash's character. My personal theory is that all Wind Rider really has in life is his Wonderbolt career. He's a living legend, but sooner or later some hotshot new prodigy is going to come along and one-up him. His record is his legacy, and when Rainbow threatened that, he felt he had to do something. The question is; what should Rainbow do to make sure she leaves behind something that'll endure longer than until the next "greatest flier" comes along.

When I first watched this episode. I immediately saw the new celebrity guy as suspicious. However I wasn't 100% sure on the motive. I taught it might be about the fact that rainbow might beat his record. However she dismissed it as not being good with long distances. So that idea died down in my theories. Turned out to be correct in the end as she demonstrated she could do long distances when going to find Spitfire.

yeah wind rider can go **** himself it does suck he was introduced just to fail but yeah framing dashie just to support your ego is totally uncool. the noir mystique of the episode was nice it gave a really nice flare to the episode and the moments when rarity was speaking out loud gave good chuckles I think one of the best parts of this episode was dashie at the very end she just got screwed over and painted as a horrible pony by wind rider and her only concern was that spitfire got her chance to fulfill her role in the show. oh and a small spoiler this is the 2nd of 3 rarity episodes back to back. but thats all you get nothing more.

Is it just me or does wind rider’s name remind you of the name of Flynn rider from Tangled
