It was called episode 6 when I downloaded them years ago too. I think just call them the way they are labeled when you get them. It would be much more confusing otherwise. It doesn't change a thing for this show itself anyways. :)

Told you, I can't wait for you to react to the next few episodes. The show gradually ramps up. PS: This show pre-dates most of the other shows you are watching. Including the galactic one by a few years. Meaning there is a chance this show gave the ideas for some of the things in the others. I even saw something in Fringe that you taught was the first show that explored the idea about it. Actually it was Stargate that that explored it first. Did both shows got the same idea independently, or one was inspired by the other? I can't tell. However there is a very big chance some other ideas to overlap in the future. Can't mention them now to not spoil you. If you ever see again something you think it matches others, this show was first. Most likely being the inspiration for. Some actors also might be in the beginning of their careers at this point. Prime example ... the mortal combat guy. Tho unsure if he was first here or in mortal combat, but still he wasn't as famous back then.

I don't think the guy from the last episode is returning. They said without the code the barrier will be closed and they will hit it directly. Without even having a chance to materialize on the other side. Which is why the military people were so afraid of them being send last time while being tied and unable to send the code. Also the wife here knows Oniel is in the military and deals with top secret things which he can't tell her. Kinda what makes her frustrated sometimes. Which is why she wasn't in the end creeped out by her dead son. She accepted it in a way as possible once she saw it. Again one of the things from the secret military part of her-ex. As to will they get back together, I can't tell due to spoilers. However even if they do, he is still in a top secret part of the military and is often out on a job anyways.

Quantum leap is a great show. I used to watch it all the time in the 90's. Scott Bakula was also a series regular on one of the Star Trek series as well. Not heard of that movie tho, will have to look it up. Glad you liked this episode, I always have. Cool to hear it's being requested so much. It's one of my favourite shows of all time. Much like Fringe which is next on my list to watch. 👍🏻
