I think you're mis-reading Saul's intentions. I don't think he dissolved the Quorum because he thought they were crazy and couldn't lead, he did it to make his command easier. He never wanted to lead, so he was trying to keep things in a sort of holding-pattern until somebody else (Adama) could step up and handle things. But even so, he had to make decisions, and I'm sorry but he made some bad ones. Nobody wants to live under a military dictatorship, even if it's to 'keep them safe'. Clearly if the military is storming your home and taking your things, you're not going to feel too safe, and Ellen was the one challenging Saul to act rather than explain things to people. That was another bad move. I like his character, and I know he was in a tough position, but he was in the wrong. Most people (characters like Dualla and Gaeta as well as the audience) are expected to side with democracy and freedom, which is why they support Roslin (or are at least against Tigh and martial law). It does get a bit muddled though when you throw in the religious stuff, as well as people disobeying orders.. I do get your points on that even if I disagree on some things.

This was a tough one for me.. I hated Tigh for a long time lol so I was definitely against him and the martial law. I didn’t hate lee for any of his decisions, he’s against what they were trying to do to the president and took a stand. There are times I don’t like lee, but this wasn’t one of them. Saul is a drunk who wasn’t capable or really wanted to be in command and it shows. I was definitely one of those watching this reaction thinking you were crazy 😂😂 but it was entertaining at the very least

The beginning of this episode is very interesting having seen the whole series. If they only knew...

I was 100% on Roslin's side. She's the president. I know you so far have doubted her from the very beginning but she has been making the right calls since the miniseries, and even if she was making a bad call, the military can't just decide to depose her. Adama doesn't have a plan other than run but the president can find a way to Earth. She has humanities best interest in mind. Adama and Tigh are too emotional, they don't always think rationally (which you witnessed when Kara was lost on that planet and Tigh's relationship with his wife)
